Strand: Service

This was a first timer experince for me . I learned alot from opting for a beach clean up . the opportunity that i got through the school weekly beach clean up program was uniqne and different for a 11 grader . The first place for beach clean up was a river sided place. Which was filled with plastic wastage every where . The plastic also entered the holy river and polluting it badly . Second place was a beach . Which was more like a trash dumping area. the vistor were unbothered about trash they litered . Which was badly hampering the ocean . through the beach clean , the places were almost restored . Along side spreading awareness for environment to the locals and the vistor”s visiting the area .

LO 6: Engagement with issues of global signficance

The issue of plastic litre is world wide is enlarging day by day . Which can be fixed by focusing and following the SDG goals : Such as SDG 6(Clean water and Sanitation) . This action of beach clean and community clean drives are essteinal to sustain our earths water bodies . The sustainability part is a responsbility to be taken by eveybody . The beach clean up/drives help water bodies restore there natural beauty again . Which is a achievement to be achieved by every person in every city,state,country and region .

LO 4: Show perservance and commitment in CAS experience

Every early wake up”s for clean up drives is not easy . The the weekned is for fun and relxation . But as a responsible student , I opted for beach clean up . The task was hard and exhausting , but i pushed myself knowing the time being utlised for a needful thing . The clean up is a thing which brings joy that we impacted the planet .

LO 7:Recognize and consider the ethics of choices and actions

Through opting for beach cleanup I fullfilled by ethics wants . It demanded to do the right . So I enrolled in the beach clean up . Where I cleaned beach,rive side roads and etc . Through this I belive I did a correct ehtical choice and action . This choice was for the environment .
