Being part of the Decor and Dance committees for FS Got Talent was a whirlwind of creativity, collaboration, and a healthy dose of controlled chaos. It was an experience that pushed my organizational skills, artistic flair, and ability to perform under pressure to the limit, but the final result made all the effort worthwhile. As part of the dance committee, we were responsible for choreographing an opening performance that would set the tone for the entire show.
LO5 – Demonstrate skills and benefits of working collaboratively.
This involved countless hours of practice, refining our moves, coordinating formations, and ensuring everyone was synchronised. Being on both committees meant juggling multiple responsibilities and collaborating with a diverse group of people. We learned to communicate effectively, delegate tasks, and work together to achieve a common goal. There were disagreements and challenges, but we learned to compromise and find solutions that worked for everyone.
LO4 – Show perseverance and commitment in CAS experience.
Often, unexpected challenges arose, from last-minute technical glitches to shifting logistical needs. By being present early, I could identify these problems and work towards solutions before they impacted the day’s schedule.My involvement in the FS Got Talent organizing committee reflects my dedication to fostering a vibrant and engaging environment. I am prepared to contribute my full effort to all aspects of the event, from logistics and coordination to promotion and participant support
LO2 – Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills.
Initially, coordinating schedules between performers, judges, and technical staff proved challenging. We had to navigate conflicting availabilities and ensure everyone was aligned. Communicating effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders, including performers, and volunteers, required strong communication skills.
