Cross Country Run

Participating in the Cross Country Run was an exhilarating and transformative experience that pushed me beyond my physical and mental limits. This cross-country event was not just about endurance; it was a journey of self-discovery, resilience, and growth.

LO1: Identifying Strengths and Areas for Growth One of the most significant takeaways from this experience was understanding my physical capabilities and limitations. Before the run, I had always considered myself an average runner with a decent stamina level. However, during training, I realized that my pacing strategy and endurance needed improvement. Through consistent practice and feedback from experienced runners, I worked on controlling my breathing and maintaining a steady speed, which significantly enhanced my performance. This event helped me recognize the importance of self-assessment and provided an opportunity to refine my running skills.

On the day of the races, my perseverance paid off as I successfully completed the course despite the physical and mental challenges. The sense of accomplishment I felt at the finish line was a testament to my hard work and determination.
