My teammate and I set up Ring Toss as a game for children to enjoy at our annual school event which took place in underprivileged schools. They had to toss a ring in the cone and if they won, they received a reward. Our main objective shifted toward developing activities that delivered enjoyment to children as they participated alongside offering little rewards at stake. The goal I set for myself involved enhancing my team abilities and planning skills together with effective communication but most importantly I wanted to share happiness with others. The activity provided children with opportunities for happiness because they typically miss out on such recreational facilities. The experience taught me personal growth by allowing me to help others through our community-building game.
LO2: Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process
Organizing the children combined with running the game fair for everyone proved to be the most difficult aspect. Running this event proved challenging since I needed constant focus together with immediate decision-making skills and extreme patience. As a participant in previous school events I experienced but game management for such a large crowd of children was my first time responsibility. To overcome the challenge I maintained my composure while communicating well with my teammate while managing participant flow effectively. Accepting new challenges teaches people how to become adapted to stressful situations and build resilience as well as creative thinking abilities. I discovered my capabilities in fast problem-solving along with managing changing situations. My development of this capability will be beneficial throughout my future career as a leader and during planning events and teamwork projects. The acquisition of new skills advances my self-assurance which drives my determination to improve continuously. Learning new skills enables our ability to prepare for unforeseen events as well as develop ourselves personally and professionally.
LO5: Demonstrate the skills and recognize the benefits of working collaboratively
Working with teammates comes naturally to me because I like both discussing concepts together with people and splitting workloads and providing mutual assistance to reach shared targets. The event progressed smoothly between my teammate and I because we maintained good communication and provided continuous support to one another. My teammate and I faced no challenges when we co-managed the activity successfully together. Teamwork remains central because people can distribute duties more effectively while solving problems together while exchanging knowledge. The responsibility to supervise the game and hold the children’s attention with fairness needs while dealing with the crowded space demanded teamwork from us. Through our joint coordination and leadership abilities we delivered an organized event which brought pleasure to all participants.

LO6: Demonstrate engagement with issues of global significance
This CAS experience showcased that underprivileged children experience limited opportunities in both learning and recreational areas. SO many children worldwide do not have access to fundamental necessities that impact their welfare together with their possible development in our society. Social development together with equality and human rights worldwide experience significant negative effects from this particular issue. My awareness of the issue led me to become more compassionate towards others and more responsible regarding social matters. Through this experience I learned the significance of voluntary community service for supporting those who need help. The experience motivated me to remain dedicated to making equivalent opportunities available for everyone independent of their origins.
LO7: Recognize and consider the ethics of choices and actions
The main ethical concern centered on promoting fairness along with inclusion as the game manager. Each child from any background should have the same opportunity to join and succeed in the competition. The ethical issue directly involved me because I needed to prevent children from feeling excluded and mistreated. This experience made me understand why we need to respect people equally during all daily interactions. Through my participation this activity helped me realize how essential it is to be fair and dignified when dealing with underprivileged students.

My participation in this CAS experience facilitated my growth in both caring and open-minded learner attributes because I dedicated time to underprivileged children while promoting their feelings of inclusion and worth. My experience linked to TOK subjects because I considered ethical responsibilities along with the significance of impartiality in every action. Through this activity others gained happiness and motivation together with a positive feeling of accomplishment. Watching them experience pure joy proved to be the most memorable moment which caused me to rethink my understanding of privilege and helped me become more understanding of others. I comprehended myself that ethical attitude along with teamwork and empathy play essential roles as a result of this experience. More children and different activities should be included if I were to execute this project in future. I will use my collected knowledge to back up inclusive community programs and work toward establishing equality in the entire world!
