ISSO was an very good platform for me to demonstrate my game and whatever I have learned throughout the year would be helpful for me in this tournament.It is a tournament which is between IB schools.It was an very different experience for me and it was something different.I have played several ISSO which were in solo sports like gymnastics but this was my first time as a team we were representing our school in cricket.We were from different grades and we were in a team and everyone was having an unique gameplay and their understanding of the game.There were many challenges that we had to overcome for example first of all the selection as everyone is deserving and wants to give hundred percent and it was very competitive.

LO 1:Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth

This ISSO event game me an opportunity to understand what my strengths and weakness are, such as I got to know that the team bonding could be an factor that could be helpful for the overall performance.I got to know that I had line and length which was good for as it would increase the accuracy.Where Else I was feeling the pressure of the game as it was my first match and it was a new team mad recently so it was quiet challenging.As there were many thoughts that would come in mind the doubts and questions arises.

LO 2 Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken,developing new skills.

There were many challenges that had came along the way in this tournament.Where we got to learn many things from it.Such as the matches were knockouts due to the weather and it made more competitive as every team had to win every match to keep themselves in the tournament.All the teams were very good.The level of the competition was high as all teams were having good bowling line ups and we have to adjust according to the pitch and ground.This experience and pressure definitely is helpful for me in future.

LO 5 Demonstrate skills and benefits of working collaboratively

As we know that cricket is the team game and we have to play as an unit,we all were selected from the school and everyone was in different grades and we did not know each other well but as we had practice sessions and as we interacted with each other we used to help each other too like if someone struggled in catches the team used to motivate.Also one player cannot win the matches it’s an collaborative effort which makes the big difference.
