The Night Out was an event organized for students and teachers of DP.Wherein there were different activities,games and night tournament organized for them.We had many activities like relay race with it murder mystery.We also had band performance and DJ.After that we had dinner.Than we had night tournament which had sports like cricket,frisbee,basketball,pickleball,and football.The students could participate in any event according to there wish and the teams were created prior by rolling out the forms.

LO 1:Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth 

While organizing the night out I got to know many strengths of mine and areas of growth.Like I was able to get Ideas for what can we do for activities and what things would we require for the night tournament the resources required for that sport.The area of growth would be my communication skills as I was not able to communicate my thinking and I used to tell my another friend to convey what I wanted to share.So I have to work on that.Also working collaboratively helps building social skills.

LO 2:Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills

The night out was filled with many different activities,games and sports and there were many things in which we have to look into.On the day of the night out there were many challenges that came as not everything goes according to the plans made.As first we had placed resources for relay race and doing it was also an task.Than we also required the frisbee ground for cricket tournament.So we have to take everything out after the activity was completed.Than also the ropes were left placed on the ground which by which any player could fall.Also we had not made much marking that we require for the cricket and had to manage without it.We also made the ground playable by placing the water where ever required for the pitch and after which also there were some problems like there were stones by which when the ball touches it it spins and creates an uneven bounce and spin in the pitch.So there are many challenges that we get to know on the day of the event and we have to overcome that challenges.

LO 3:Demonstrate how to initiate and Plan and CAS experience

For night out event we had to plan activities to be kept in the relay race and planing the murder mystery,menu,songs for band ,sports for night tournament and making the teams for the night tournament.We planned the whole schedule for the day we also made the teams by the responses that we got by rolling out the forms for the night tournament.We also has to keep in mind the timings of the activities as everything should be on time so that we can complete the activities that we had planned.

LO 4:Show commitment to, and perseverance in,CAS experience

There was perseverance in the CAS as there was a huge gap as there was CAS trip and few things that were also around that time.We were having less time to prepare for the night out.So we also had to work after school.We also attended all the meetings.

LO 5: – Demonstrate skills and benefits of working collaboratively

There are many benefits of working collaboratively as we are not good in everything and somewhere we all need help in things.Like for the night tournament we divided our team into pairs of 2 and they had planned according to their prior knowledge of that sport.Like me and my friend were looking into the arrangements required for cricket likewise there were other people in group looking into the sports which they played.Also for decided the menu we all collaboratively worked
