The trek to Bhavar Kada Waterfalls highlighted the importance of teamwork and collaboration. Walking as a group required us to communicate effectively, encourage one another, and adjust our pace so that no one was left behind. LO6 Demonstrate engagement with issues of global significance.
Spending a day at Bhavar Kada Waterfalls encouraged me to think about the importance of environmental conservation, which is a global issue. Natural spaces like waterfalls and forests are increasingly under threat due to pollution, deforestation, and climate change. This experience helped me connect my personal actions to broader global efforts toward preserving natural resources for future generations.
Overall, the Bhavar Kada Waterfalls trip contributed meaningfully to my CAS development by addressing multiple learning outcomes. It allowed me to undertake challenges that strengthened resilience, recognize the value of collaboration, and reflect on the importance of planning in experiential learning.
