I have always been curious about why handwriting looks the way it does. Is it any way connected to our subconscious mind?. I have completed graphology by accomplishing 2 steps of learning, 1)Signature analysis and 2) Handwriting analysis. There is something so fascinating about learning graphology and able to acknowledge a person’s subconscious mind through their Handwriting and signature, then help them know themselves. Which is why the prospect of learning of graphology came into picture and without giving it a second thought.

Learning Outcome 2: Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills.

Learning graphology was challenging task as it needs proper guidance and teaching. Before becoming an analyst, I never knew that our handwriting and signature reflects our subconscious mind and plays a significant role in our lives. I never knew that changing our handwriting and signature could impact our personality to some extent. Furthermore, the challenging part over here was learning each an every component of both analysis with concentration and developing skills to improve diction. Now, Why was this a challenging part ? This is because, as an analyst, I have to ensure that I provide accurate and relevant analysis to my clients with the use of positive words, so that they don’t feel that they don’t feel judged or blamed for anything. To overcome this challenge, I focused during my teacher’s lesson and tried to revise the concepts once or twice a day. After the complete course, I practiced by requesting 10-15 samples for both the analysis to improve my diction. I strongly believe that learning new skills always opens a new door for better approach towards the career path we choose. It also expose us to critical and creative thinking.

Learning Outcome 4: Show commitment and perseverance in CAS experience.

For me commitment is easy and I prefer to commit for things which I feel I could stick to and complete with my focus and interest. However, showing perseverance is something in most cases I find difficult. However, in this case, after I got a proper tutor, learning it was not that difficult. Going for classes everyday, promising yourself to complete it and learn new everyday throughout this course and practicing analyzing as much as scripts you can. This was the commitment I made to myself and the tutor to complete this activity. Also, in this case showing perseverance was not difficult as everyday I complete a part of any component in a 1 hr class at end it still left me curious about what ahead ? and I think this worked for me, and I showed consistency and perseverance.

Learning Outcome 7: Recognize and consider the ethics of choice and actions.

Graphology is generally used for hiring employees but the analysis is also taken up by the general people for knowing about themselves more deeper. So, the ethical issues involved in graphology are: 1) Privacy Concerns, 2) Professional Decisions, 3) Emotional Impact. The reason Privacy Concern is an ethical issue because the result of the handwriting or signature analysis should not misused or shared to the public, as it could affects a person’s reputation and privacy. Also, doing the analysis without the person’s permission will violate the privacy. Furthermore, as stated above that graphology is generally used for hiring employees for the company, so due to graphology professional decisions are impacted and it could create injustice and unfair hiring and it also hampers the principles of providing people with new opportunities. Moreover, graphology can also impact a person emotional being as an analyst our words could impact their emotional being, also if the analysis is Misinterpreted or misused then the person’s emotional well being could be hampered. These Ethical issues has impacted me in a way but ya while learning I have to prepare my mind for considering all the ethical values which can impact a person’s well being. Privacy was in my ethical boundary, but after this course i released that it more important then we visualize it to be. Some Ethical values of mine have changed due to this course, Like at first I wanted the closest people to share their problems but after this I knew that respect their boundaries of sharing is also really important.

At last, This course developed learner profile characteristics. Now, I feel that I am open minded, Principled, Inquirer and a better communicator. Doing analysis of different people, different personalities had made me realized that it’s okay to be whatever you feel and whatever you want to be and it has stopped be from being an judgmental person and allow me to accept new personalities and new perspectives. It has made me balanced person as during the course I released not only studying is important, developing new interests is also important. Questioning is also important, as this always opens new door towards are new learning. This activity could bring change in someone’s personality and can see change in their physical, mental and emotional health. I have successfully completed the course, Although it wasn’t easy to ask people for their official signatures and do analysis without any guidance. However, to achieve this I requested people to write a paragraph about themselves and do their official signatures and analyzed them, which has also improved my language skills. I really feel proud that I am able to analyze this scripts and according to the feedback I received, most of the analysis of a person’s handwriting and signature was 90% right.
