Every year my school organizes a creativity competition where students and representatives from different schools come together to compete in different categories. Kalakriti is an interschool arts competition that allows students to showcase their talent. It gives them a platform to express themselves with stunning solo or group performances under categories such as Western dance, gymnastics, painting, and music. At this event, I got an opportunity to volunteer and help in the management of the event. This experience allowed me to learn about commitment, collaboration skills, and planning experiences.

LO 3:Demonstrate how to initiate and plan a CAS experience 

LO 3 :  As a volunteer of Kalakriti, i contributed to initiating and planning the event by assisting the schedule performances, coordinating location and participants, and ensuring smooth event logistics. I collaborated with the organizers to manage resources efficiently, demonstrating strong time management and multi tasking skills. This experence enhanced my ability to plan structured events, improving teamwork and commitment. Managing an interschool competition also improved my leadership and time management skills. 

LO 4: Show commitment to and perseverance in CAS experiences

LO 4 : I demonstrated commitment and perseverance by actively assisting despite last minute schedule changes and was able to coordinate multiple performances. I remained dedicated for smooth execution managing logistics and supporting participants. This experience strengthened my resilience and showed teh importance of perseverance in collaborative projects. I tried my best to put consistent efforts in handling all responsibilities and was able to make this CAS experience valuable.

LO 5: Demonstrate the skills and recognize the benefits of working collaboratively

LO 5 : In this experience I collaborated with organziers, participants and other volunteers to manage event logistics efficiently. Coordinating all schedules and performances with seamless transitions tested and required communication, adaptability and various skills. This experience highlighted the benefits of collaboration, how division of responsibilities makes a task more easier and qualified. It enhanced my ability delegate tasks efficiently, solve problems under pressure, a very valuable skill that will help me in my future academic year.
