My motivation for choosing this as my CAS project was to create a unique name tag for the DP Wing. I had the chance to collaborate with two classmates on this project, and while we tried to come up with some original ideas, we ultimately settled on the one that my teacher and two classmates liked the best.My motivation for choosing this as my CAS project was to create a unique name tag for the DP Wing. LO1 – Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth Screen reader support enabled.

I worked creatively to create name tags for the classes in our wing and came up with original names for each room as part of my IB CAS curriculum. I was able to pinpoint my areas of strength—creativity, organisation, and attention to detail—through this experience. I experimented with several design concepts to make sure the nametags were both aesthetically pleasing and significant. Furthermore, coming up with original titles tested my abilities to think creatively and take into account what would appeal to my peers and the educational setting.

I also discovered areas for improvement during this process, such honing my time management and teamwork abilities. I was able to improve my thoughts and discover the value of taking into account different viewpoints by asking for and receiving feedback from teachers and students.Additionally, controlling the project’s timeframe enabled me to improve my planning abilities and guarantee that all of the name tags were finished quickly.

All things considered, this exercise increased my self-assurance in my creative skills while teaching me the importance of organisation and teamwork. It allowed me to develop both creatively and personally while making a significant contribution to my school community.

LO2 – Demonstrate the challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills

One of the difficulties I have encountered in learning new skills is that thinking skills development was particularly difficult because it required a lot of time because we had to give careful consideration to the design we would create on canvas.Additionally, we have to explain to our teachers why we selected this specific design for the DP wing and provide them with the rationale behind our decision.Along, with that we had also give 2 distinct name for both the DP wing which suited the best so for that as well our time went in contemplating which names we can select for DP wing.

From the outset, my team and I planned each step of our startup’s development. We conducted brainstorming sessions, researched market trends, and analyzed potential challenges. This experience reinforced the importance of structured planning and execution. Each decision was backed by thorough research, ensuring that our startup also aligned with environmental sustainability.

LO4 – Show perseverance and commitment in CAS experience

Together with my two classmates, I demonstrated tenacity and dedication throughout my CAS experience.The three of us had begun creating any design that could work best for the DP wing.For example, we have chosen to create as many designs as possible first, and then we have to explain why you have chosen the ones that work best for the DP wing.After that, the three of us talk about the designs we could use for the DP wing and explain why we chose this particular design.Additionally, the three of us demonstrate tenacity and dedication by considering potential names for the DP wing.

LO5 – Demonstrate skills and benefits for working collaboratively

My abilities include thinking, creativity, and social skills. I had to think a lot about the various designs that would work best for the DP Wing and also come up with a name for it. I used my creativity to create the name tag for the DP Wing on canvas using a variety of fonts and the colour of the background that would be used. Finally, I had to socialise with my two classmates about their design ideas and which design they both created.The advantages of working cooperatively for this project are that I get to know about the several points of view on the design which they have created for the DP wing and also our work becomes more simple if we are doing the project in a group of three since it becomes easy for us to choose the design along with justification which suits best for the DP wing. The name which they most like for the DP wing is also something which I should discuss with them.
