I have volunteered in community service organised by Fountainhead School for underprivileged children from government school. I was an incharge of the frisbee sport, which required me to organize activities and drills to instruct them.

Learning Outcome 1: Identify Own Strengths And Develop Areas For Growth
Community service was an amazing experience for me because I could identify my own areas of development and my own strength for growth. From this event I learned that teaching a beginner and children is a tough task to do. I had to come up with different activities and drills to keep them engaging and interested as they were very enthusiastic. To keep up with their expectation, I had to brainstorm techniques instantly to teach them the basics of frisbee. Also for them it was new and a great opportunity to learn frisbee, myself as a learner it was not easy and this is when I found my strength and areas for development. After this experience I got to know that my strength is that I can overcome any small challenges within a short time period or instant incidents with or without help from my peers.

Learning Outcome 5: Demonstrate the skills and recognize the benefits of working collaboratively
In community service for teaching frisbee we had to demonstrate our skill and showcase them for their better understanding. The drills that we make them perform were either in group or pair task so we as a team had to perform collaboratively and coach them. Including the number of children and observing the number of volunteer it has vast difference so at the end we had to work together which wasn’t a problem at all, as we were all coopreative but we all were struggling at one point for comming up with different drills and activity eventually together we overcame the problem. At the end we all needed each other help to demonstrate our individual skill.
