*Safarnama* is a lively literary gathering that encourages writers, poets, and speakers to express and explore their creativity. People can share their ideas, feelings, and contemplations in an open and inviting environment, which is frequently sparked by the season’s evocative quality. Participants can go on literary adventures that connect with both themselves and their audience by participating in this event, which promotes creative and intimate storytelling. Safarnama is an immersive experience that’s unlike any other because it doesn’t follow a set format and instead celebrates the freedom of creativity.

LOI 2: Demonstrate That Challenges Have Been Undertaken, Developing New Skills in the Process

There were multiple challenges that were encountered during the process of preparing for monsoon musing. Being the part of the decor team I was supposed to complete multiple tasks in a short time period, alongside with that I also had to keep in mind the other curriculum tasks which I had to cover up after the event. Due to lack of time management skills I was struggling at first but at the end this project taught me how to prioritize work and how proper time management is done. Adding on, The skills I gained from this experience were priceless, especially in the areas of problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and time management. I had the opportunity to develop these crucial soft skills throughout the project and also pick up some new ones that will help me going forward. Using my creativity was one of the things I most enjoyed doing, especially since I’m really interested in decorating. I was able to investigate my interest while making a significant contribution to this project. Still, one of the most difficult things to do was manage time well. We had a very short time frame to finish all of the decorations, which made it even more difficult to juggle with our other continuing extracurricular and scholastic obligations. In spite of this, I learnt from the experience how to prioritize activities, better manage my time, and perform well under duress. It also emphasized the value of cooperation, since reaching our objectives required us to coordinate with one another and make sure we were all on the same page. All things considered, this experience forced me to develop, learn, and adapt in ways that will benefit me in my future endeavors, in addition to honing my current skills.

LOI 4: Show perseverance and commitment in CAS experience

As mentioned there were multiple Challenges that were there when working on this project but those challenges did not make me give up on this project, but instead made me want to push and extend myself to do and learn things. Although we had a really short period of time of just 5 days, we worked extensively for almost the whole school hours. This project was not something that I was forced into doing but something that I really enjoy. There were times were I had to consent to our mentor for a short time period and that it was near to impossible to decorate 2 venues. But in the end the hard work and dedication paid off and the event was a hit. Even when things didn’t go as planned, I adapted and kept going, determined to contribute to the success of the event. This dedication to the project proved not only my passion but also my ability to persevere under pressure.

LOI 5: Demonstrate skills and benefits of working collaboratively.

Being part of the Monsoon Musing: Safarnama decor team allowed me to develop and apply important skills that significantly contributed to the project’s successful outcome. Excellent communication was essential for collaboration to distribute responsibilities, coordinate ideas, and ensure everyone was aligned with the event’s creative vision. By listening to and valuing other perspectives, we combined our individual talents to produce more creative and comprehensive designs. Teamwork improved my problem-solving skills by requiring quick thinking and group brainstorming to address tight deadlines and last-minute changes, emphasizing trust and dependability in achieving common goals. The benefits of working together were clear: our combined work led to a more dynamic and superior end product, and collectively we achieved much more than any of us could have on our own. This occurrence reinforced the importance of collaboration for acquiring knowledge from others and for individual growth, in addition to finishing tasks.

Overall, being a part of this event has been a great learning experience and with that also helped me in personal growth too. Monsoon Musing has given birth to the creative and artistic side of myself. Eversince the event I have been doing a lot of art and craft at home and I have realized how soothing art is for me. I am extremely grateful for monsoon musing for giving me an exposure to arts and I plan to continue doing art and craft at home to calm and relax myself.
