Anand Utsav is a special event that celebrates the hard work and dedication of our support staff. It is a way for us to show our gratitude and appreciation for everything they do to keep our school running smoothly. This event gives them a well-deserved break from their daily tasks and allows them to relax, have fun, and enjoy games and activities. More than just a day of enjoyment, Anand Utsav helps strengthen the bond between students, teachers, and support staff, making everyone feel like part of our school
LO1 Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth
Through Anand Utsav, I get the opportunity to recognize my strengths and areas where I can improve. While organizing the event, I discovered skills like teamwork, communication, and leadership. I also identify areas that need development, such as time management or problem-solving. By participating in different aspects of the event, I push myself to grow and become more confident in my abilities.
LO3 Initiate and plan a CAS experience
Anand Utsav requires careful planning and coordination, and I take the initiative to help organize it. I contribute ideas, set goals, and make arrangements to ensure that the event is enjoyable and meaningful for our support staff. From selecting activities to managing logistics, I learn how to plan effectively and work with a team to bring an idea to life.
LO4 – Show perseverance and commitment in CAS experience
Organizing Anand Utsav comes with challenges, such as time constraints, coordination issues, or last-minute changes. However, I stay committed to making the event a success by putting in continuous effort. Even when things do not go as planned, I adapt and find solutions, ensuring that the celebration is enjoyable for everyone involved. My dedication helps me develop perseverance and responsibility.
LO6 – Engagement with issues of global significance
While Anand Utsav is a school event, it connects to a broader global issue—the recognition and appreciation of workers who play essential roles in our daily lives. Around the world, many support staff and workers do not receive the respect and gratitude they deserve. By celebrating their efforts, I contribute to promoting fairness, inclusivity, and respect in society.
LO7 – Recognise and consider the ethics of choices and actions
Anand Utsav reminds me of the importance of treating everyone with kindness and respect. Through this event, I reflect on how small actions, like expressing gratitude, can make a big difference in someone’s life. I ensure that my choices and efforts during the event are thoughtful and ethical, making sure that our support staff feel truly valued and appreciated.
