FSMUN 11.0

I was a part of the organising and decor committee. The days leading up to FSMUN were a flurry of activity. We transformed the venue, setting up committee rooms, delegate lounges, and the main assembly hall. Unexpected challenges inevitably arose. We worked closely with other committees, ensuring everything ran seamlessly.Despite the challenges, we felt a deep sense of accomplishment. We had contributed to a successful event, fostering global awareness and diplomacy among students.

LO2 – Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills.

The initial phase was all about brainstorming. We explored various themes, color palettes, and decor ideas that would align with the FSMUN’s goals and create a memorable atmosphere. A significant part of our work involved hands-on creation. We crafted decorations, signages, and props, adding a personal touch to the event. We learned to think on our feet, finding creative solutions to last-minute issues. Communication and collaboration were paramount.

LO5 – Demonstrate skills and benefits of working collaboratively.

Organizing a MUN conference involves many tasks: logistics, delegate registration, committee assignments, social events, etc. Effective collaboration requires dividing these tasks and ensuring everyone knows their responsibilities. These collaborative skills would have been crucial for creating a successful and engaging conference experience for all participants.
