At this grand school event my friends and I established a game zone featuring PS5 consoles that let participants pay to access their favourite video games. Running the stall efficiently with a fun atmosphere ranked among our main objectives in this project. Our objective consisted of learning business skills related to money handling as well as promotion and customer service management. Three essential elements we wished to improve through this activity were teamwork and communication and problem-solving abilities. The project allowed us to discover our gaming interests alongside practical knowledge development for event organization and group business operation.

LO1: Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth
Experiencing this allowed me to identify three particular strengths: teamwork as well as communication skills and my ability to handle challenging situations. My greatest weakness became visible when it came to efficiently advertise our stall alongside setting ideal prices for the games. Knowledge about my marketing and pricing deficiencies drives me to develop better business strategies because they remain crucial across any business related environment. The stall would have achieved better results by addressing the identified difficulties in participant attraction and game pricing management to bring more success to our stall. I plan to work on improving my marketing skills and financial planning skills so they become useful tools for both business startups and project-based work in the future.

LO2: Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process
The main challenge we faced during the activity involved finding customers for our stall while establishing competitive yet fair prices. The process proved difficult because strategic thinking along with quick adaptability are requirements for marketing and financial decisions which I had not properly mastered. This business fair effort surpassed the simple Grade 4 experience because of its increased difficulty level. I solved this difficulty by teaming up with my group members and developing new selling strategies while we participated in the activity. The experience turned out to be both gratifying and exciting because it demanded me to step out of my comfort zone. Fresh challenges serve as tools that strengthen confidence levels and deliver adaptable thinking abilities and logical thinking skills. The experience revealed my natural ability to negotiate with customers and to successfully engage with them which can prove beneficial in business fields. The process of master new abilities both enhances my self-assurance alongside creating readiness for genuine life encounters which demonstrates why improving essential skills serves to support individual and occupational development.

LO3: Demonstrate how to initiate and plan a CAS experience
As organizer I separated responsibilities with my teammates so everyone received clear assigned duties. I organized my time by making a checklist which included the establishment of our stall space and arrangement of the PS5 system alongside determination of pricing structure. Planning proved to be tougher than initiating since it required detailed strategic planning together with money assessment and marketing efforts. During stressful situations my creative thinking capabilities showed themselves alongside my skill to handle operational matters. The experience has boosted my planning competence because I now understand proper planning brings successful results. Learning how to plan and initiate activities produces essential knowledge because it builds responsibility skills and time management abilities and teamwork competencies which all lead to success in the end always.

LO4: Show commitment to and perseverance in CAS experiences
The event required constant dedication to bring in visitors and control expenses and maintain functional equipment during the whole occasion. The task required constant motivation since our customer numbers dropped at specific periods which added to the demand for perseverance. I took on a feeling of responsibility together with determination to achieve stall success even though obstacles stood in the way. Standard operation of the stall required people to show commitment to manage everything successfully from earnings recording to visitor satisfaction. During this activity I learned persistence is crucial as it develops strength and creates positive development regardless of hurdles.

LO5: Demonstrate the skills and recognize the benefits of working collaboratively
Working with others presents no challenges to me since I appreciate exchanging ideas along with sharing work and gaining knowledge from multiple viewpoints. The team collaboration went smoothly throughout this activity because we maintained good communication while providing support to one another. The mission of listening to opposing views along with creating solutions for differences stood as our method to deal with points of conflict about pricing decisions and customer service tasks. Teamwork is crucial as different team members through their multiple skills enhance collective effectiveness. Our stall experienced complete coverage across customer management and financial responsibilities because of our team’s cooperative work style which leadership and organization supported.

This CAS experience showed me the fundamental requirement for every individual to obtain technology along with entertainment regardless of their social economic status. Education together with social connections and recreational needs depend on technology but millions of individuals cannot obtain it because of financial limitations worldwide. This gap exists everywhere across the globe but it especially affects developing nations. My understanding of this particular issue increased my awareness regarding my lucky circumstances and how crucial it is to create digital connections. Through this activity I gained insight into how technologies bring happiness but small enjoyable experiences can still help in large-scale social inequality awareness.

LO7: Recognize and consider the ethics of choices and actions
The activity created an ethical dilemma concerning game pricing since we needed to establish prices that were justifiable to both us and the customers. Our team had to think about achieving accessible prices for guests without charging beyond reasonable value that might impact affordable accessibility. My contribution in cost evaluation and customer equality responsibilities directly presented this issue to me. My experience revealed that price fairness in business operations stands as a crucial ethical matter which I previously had not seriously considered. My understanding about how to perform ethical business decisions developed after these events as well as my responsibility toward such choices.

Through this CAS experience I strengthened important attributes of the learner profile including skills in communication and risk-taking and reflective thinking abilities. The link between this experience and my Business Management subject becomes clear since I utilized concepts including pricing strategies alongside customer engagement and financial planning. Through entertainment activities we benefited others who came to support the event. Operating my stall successfully with my team along with observing participant satisfaction became the best moment of the event. Through this experience I changed the way I understand both teamwork and ethical decisions which increased my understanding about fairness and collaboration. My experiences have provided me with essential business and leadership competencies that I intend to use in my future entrepreneurial work and community activities. I would need to work upon marketing and advertising and establish better communication if I organized this event a second time. The knowledge from this experience enables me to plan more events merging enjoyment with knowledge acquisition and social change while furthering my business ability and teambuilding skills.
