I joined four rock climbing sessions which had a warm-up in beginning including jogging and stretching followed by actual wall climbing using attached rocks. On each climbing adventure I wore protective equipment. I also practiced various techniques with single rock handholds. I set myself three objectives including fitness progress and mental strength development and problem-solving abilities while exploring challenging climbing challenges. This activity allowed me to develop strength together with endurance and focus while encouraging me to risk taking and practice and reflective work for improvement.

LO1: Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth
My experience with rock climbing brought out my challenge of handling outdoor cold temperatures and mastering the single-rock challenge because it needed stronger precision than expected. My understanding of this weak point exposed to me the significance of physical together with mental readiness. Having awareness of our personal strengths and weaknesses help us develop ourselves by concentrating on building up our flawed areas. Better endurance together with adaptability should be my next goal because these abilities would deliver improved efficiency and confidence while facing challenging climbs.
LO2: Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process
Climbing the single-rock challenged me the most because especially when I had to excel under the cold weather. The challenge needed complete focus together with so much power and balance which made it a highly demanding mental and physical challenge. I participated in a few rock-climbing sessions in PE slots in the last 10 years during where I was frequently the fastest achiever yet this new experience provided a deeper challenge. My determination together with continuing practice and planning ahead helped me to succeed. Pursuing new challenges allows personal growth of resilience with confidence development which alongside problem-solving abilities improves academic performance and real world effectiveness. The acquisition of new abilities through strategic thinking and perseverance gives me a sense of achievement together with enhanced confidence for addressing upcoming tests.

LO4: Show commitment to and perseverance in CAS experiences
When we participated in rock-climbing because of chilly weather and the challenging single rock path it demanded perseverance and devotion to succeed. No matter how difficult things got I stayed focused because it brought me pride and accomplished results. Participation in this event needed dedicated routine practice together with mental strength and physical stamina. My dedication becomes stronger when I enthusiastic about an activity even though maintaining commitment occasionally proves hard. Making persistently efforts proves essential since it develops personality traits along with self-control and toughness which become necessary for success across any life area.
LO6: Demonstrate engagement with issues of global significance
Rock climbing exposes vital health perspectives since physical and mental wellness remains an global issue where many people encounter inactivity problems alongside mental health challenges. Exercising through these activities builds crucial skills for physical health and mental toughness required by a happy society. Personal experience along with global health and wellness awareness initiatives made me more aware of this matter. My knowledge of this matter reinforced my appreciation for my fitness path while encouraging me to remain physically active. The CAS activity strengthened my sense of connection to worldwide initiatives that help people enjoy healthier bodies and develop themselves personally.

LO7: Recognize and consider the ethics of choices and actions
Safety along with responsibility show critical ethical concerns in this activity of rock climbing. Proper gear and safety guidelines were essential for protecting participant’s safety because this showed the crucialness of individual responsibility towards all involved in the activity. The ethical concern directly impacted my actions because I needed to make sure I am about the following of safety procedures. After this experience I gained more appreciation for the very big role safety plays in all physical activities. My continued belief that safety matters stays unchanged while this experience emphasized the value of ethical accountability when dealing with dangerous situations.

The rock climbing experience allowed me to build risk-taking skills by intentionally moving beyond comfort zone while facing physical hurdles. I required immense perseverance while climbing during cold weather conditions. What made the experience most memorable was achieving the single-rock challenge goal and receiving a confidence boost as a result. From this experience I learned about the significance of dedication and persistence along with self-control that I can use for accomplishing academic goals and dealing with upcoming hurdles. I will actively work to spread enthusiasm for outdoor events which will combine physical exercise with mental development in the society.
