Global Odyssey is an event organized by the business and economics subjects, aiming to showcase the different aspect. As a member of the decor team, I was responsible for designing and setting up the event space to create a visually engaging environment.

LO2: Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken,developing new skills in the process

One of the biggest challenges was working within a budget while maintaining the desired aesthetic appeal. We had to think creatively about using materials and handmade decorations to make the space look good. Additionally, time constraints pushed me to enhance my efficiency and multitasking skills.

LO3: Demonstrate how to initiate and plan a CAS experience

From brainstorming ideas to execution, I took initiative in planning designs, gathering materials, and setting up the venue. We had to coordinate with other teams to ensure that our work complemented the event’s activities. This experience showed me how important it is to plan properly when working on creative projects..

LO5: Demonstrate the skills and recognize the benefits of working collaboratively

Our success depended a lot on teamwork. Dividing tasks and helping each other was really important, especially when we had to make last-minute changes. I learned that good communication and being flexible are key when working together.
