LO1: Identifying strengths and areas to improve

During the tournament, I realised a lot about the way I play. One thing that really stood out was how well I communicate with my partner. Since we were playing as a pair, talking to each other clearly made a huge difference. It helped us understand who would take which shot and avoid confusion during important points. I also stayed calm and worked well with my partner even when the match became stressful.
At the same time, I did notice something I need to improve. In the beginning, my reaction time was slow, and I struggled to respond to fast rallies. But as we kept playing match after match, I slowly improved. This experience helped me understand what I am good at and what I still need to work on.

LO4: Showing commitment and perseverance

he tournament was not easy. Many teams were strong and had more experience than us. The whole event lasted for hours, and there were moments when I was very tired and felt like sitting out for a bit. But I pushed myself to continue because I wanted to give my best.
I stayed focused in every match and didn’t take the easy way out. In the end, all the effort and consistency helped my partner and me finish in a good position. This reminded me that staying committed, even when things get tough, always pays off.

LO5: Demonstrate skills and benefits of working collaboratively

Playing as a team taught me how important it is to support each other. My partner and I constantly motivated each other, especially when one of us made a mistake. Instead of getting upset, we tried to lift each other’s confidence and keep the match going smoothly.
Good teamwork made the whole experience more enjoyable and less stressful. It helped us stay focused and also made our gameplay better. I understood that working together with the right attitude can make a big difference in any activity.

LO6: Engagement with global issues

By playing in this tournament, I also got the chance to support a bigger cause — raising awareness and funds for cancer. Cancer is something that affects people everywhere, and knowing that this event was helping in some way made it more meaningful for me.
It felt good to know that just by participating in a sport I enjoy, I was contributing to a cause that helps many people. It made me realise that even small actions can support global issues.
