LO 3: Demonstrate How To Initiate And Plan A CAS Experience
We planned and organised our entire project in google sheets. We added the data of the number of trees also at that particular area we covered on the day we decided. Moreover we wrote their scientific, common, Gujarati and English name for each tree. Lastly we collaboratively decided each area to count and identify the tree for both of us. This is how we organised the plan and it made it easier for us because we could manage our school time for this project.
LO 4: Show Commitment To And Perseverance In CAS Experiences
We had to make a commitment to wake up and come early-in for a few days for counting and identifying the tree. We were excited for the first few days but afterwards we needed to push ourselves to complete this project due to some technical problems in the scanner and afterwards we needed to put name plates on many trees. It needed hard work and patience as it was a long process.
LO 5: Demonstrate The Skills And Recognise The Benefits Of Working Collaboratively
For this tree identification project it takes more than one person for more rapid work so with my partner it made the work easier and quick. We divided our roles for more quick process, I was allotted one side of each area and I generated the scanner for the name plate also we together made the posters on Canva. The process was long enough but it made it easier when we divided the roles.
LO 6: Demonstrate Engagement With Issues Of Global Significance
Through this experience, I realized how small local actions can connect to global environmental issues. By encouraging awareness and appreciation for trees, we were contributing in our own way to sustainability and environmental edication. Both of which are essential to addressing climate change and ecological loss.
