The TOK Exhibition for Grade 12 is an annual event which happens every year. I am lucky to be in the organizing team of this event. In this event, DP Year 2 students will present their TOK IA Exhibition Document to the students of DP Year 1 students, so that they can gain knowledge of how to write a TOK IA. In this experience we had to plan the event and suggest any new and distinct changes in the event, as well as organize our resources efficiently.
Learning Outcome 3 : Initiate and Plan a CAS Experience
As I mentioned above, I planned this CAS experience and we have decided to do something different than what traditionally we have been following. This year, we planned that some of the students will be presenting their TOK Exhibition Document which were the best in the batch, rather than all students of Grade 12 presenting their TOK Exhibition.
Learning Outcome 4 : Show perseverance and commitment in CAS experience
I was committed during the CAS Project as I was cross-checking that each speaker is in their assigned classroom. I was also the “student head” of this project, managing all of the works and constantly participating in the group discussion and planning.
Learning Outcome 5 : Demonstrate skills and benefits of working collaboratively
Working together as a group paid off our efforts and time, as each member had a specific role and without coordination we would have not be able to complete the task on deadline and run the CAS Exhibition smoothly.
Conclusion
Through this CAS Project, I faced many difficulties but I managed to overcome them and made this Exhibition innovative with the help of my collaborators. I enhanced my organizational, leadership, collaboration, and reflective skills, gaining a deeper understanding of the ethical and practical responsibilities of knowledge sharing.
