Our school organized a one-day trek to Bhavar Kada Waterfalls. The weather was rainy and foggy, which made the experience even more adventurous. The slippery mud added difficulty, but it also made the trek exciting. The beautiful scenery kept us motivated and energized to reach the waterfall. This trek was particularly special to me because I enjoy trekking—it gives both fun and adventure while also offering a peaceful connection with nature.
LO1: Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth
I realized one of my strengths during this trek was my physical fitness and flexibility, which allowed me to complete the trek without slipping despite the muddy ground. However, there were moments when I needed to take support from others while going downhill. This made me realize that I can work on improving my grip and balance so I can manage independently next time. Recognizing this made me more determined and gave me confidence in my ability to grow.
LO2: Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills
The trek came with some challenges. One was that our clothes and bags became wet because of the rain, which made things uncomfortable. Another challenge was balancing with the rope, especially since many people were holding it at the same time, making it unstable. Some people even slipped. Through this, I developed the skill of better controlling my body weight and balance, which helped me stay steady in tricky situations.

LO5: Demonstrate skills and benefits of working collaboratively
Collaboration was essential during the trek. We supported each other by holding hands and guiding one another on the slippery paths. Teamwork was important because if one person slipped, it could cause others behind them to fall too. By working together, we made the trek smoother and safer. This collaborative spirit made the whole experience more successful, enjoyable, and memorable.
