Play2Beat PickleBall Tournament

Being a part of the “Play2Beat Cancer” pickleball tournament was an enlightening experience, that demonstrated not only the physical demands of the sport but also the importance of communication, teamwork, strategy and sportsmanship. The tournament helped me test my physical endurance and coordination all while contributing to a noble cause. Named “Play2Beat Cancer,” the tournament wasn’t just about winning matches; it was a platform where participants could rally together for a greater purpose. Supporting cancer research and awareness added a profound sense of meaning to each serve, volley, and rally, making every effort on the court feel impactful.

LO1- Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth

As I participated in the tournament, I realized the importance of self-reflection and identifying my strengths and weaknesses. My agility and quick reflexes were undeniable assets on the court, allowing me to swiftly react in high-pressure moments. However, I also recognized areas where I could improve, particularly in my strategic thinking and consistency. The tournament served as a valuable opportunity to pinpoint these areas and work on them.

LO2- Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills.
