The school university fair is an annual fair where representatives from different universities are invited to set up booths and answer students’ questions about the university. This year, I volunteered to be in the social media team for the university fair. This included taking interviews and making content for the school social media page.

LO 4 – Show commitment to and perseverance in CAS experiences.

For the university fair, I had to arrive early in the morning and help in setting up all the booths, taking photos, and lead some representatives to their respective booths. I also stayed till the very end of the event, taking photos, videos, and finding people who were willing to be interviewed. Throughout the event, I stayed on my feet, going around the hall, and ensured that I had all the content I needed.

LO 5 – Demonstrate the skills and recognize the benefits of working collaboratively.

This role was not a solo effort. I worked with teachers, student volunteers, and school staff to ensure smooth coverage. I coordinated with other students who were also contributing to social media and shared insights on the best ways to document the event. Teamwork ensured that we covered all aspects of the fair without missing anything important. I worked with the other social media team members to ensure the event went smoothly and we had as much content as possible.
