As part of my CAS activity, I attended a cross-country running event, where I ran three, each was 3 km away. This experience tested my endurance, mental flexibility and the ability to pursue previous physical limits.
LO1 – Identify your strength and develop areas for development
Through this experience, I recognized my strength in pacing and maintaining stamina over long distances. However, I also identified areas for development, such as improving my speed and managing fatigue more effectively. While reflecting your performance in each race, I learned how to adjust your training and improve your overall endurance.

LO2 – Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the proces
Long -distance races require both physical and mental firmness. It was challenging to complete the 3 km race several times, especially when tiredness and dealing with different areas. However, I developed new skills, such as breath control, proper running asanas and pacing strategies, which helped me improve my overall race performance.
LO4 – Show commitment to and perseverance in CAS experiences
This also Shows commitment to CAS experiences and to perseverance long distance races require dedication and coherent training. There were moments during the race when I used to think that it was slow or stopping, but I pushed firmly. Despite physical stress, I was committed to fulfill the three breeds, proving my determination and endurance.
