As a member of the LIT Fest 2025 decor Team, I had the opportunity to decor the whole event which helped me to decorate the place but I never realized how much I enjoyed decorating spaces. I decorated many areas in the school for the event and the event was really good decorated.

LO 1: Identifying own strengths and developing areas for growth
Although I’ve always been a little crafty, I had no idea how much I loved making things look different. I was eager to put my talent for imagining how things may appear to use, which I knew I had. As it happens, my spatial awareness is fairly good, But I also understood that I needed to improve how I manage my time. I gained the ability to work more efficiently and prioritize decoreations, I knew that I had my strengths in making things and do decoration for the events

LO 2: Demonstrating that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process
We encountered some serious difficulties. It was very difficult to decorate many areas in our school in small span of time, and also the range of decoration wa a little more, the number of participants in decore team were also less compared to how much needed, so there was a very world load for each person.

LO 7: Recognizing and considering the ethics of choices and actions
We were careful to decorate with eco-friendly products. We avoided utilizing single-use plastics, recycled paper for our signs, and repurposed outdated banners. Additionally, we ensured that our decorations were inclusive and culturally sensitive. For everyone’s enjoyment, we aimed to create a warm and inclusive environment. We tried to not waste materials once fully used than only ordered and ordered in small quantities for sustainability.

LO 5: Demonstrating the skills and recognizing the benefits of working collaboratively
It was a pleasure working with the decor team. We discovered how to depend on one another, and each of us had unique strengths. While some people excelled at painting, others were masters of technical details, and I concentrated on the layout, general design.,cutting papers and many more. As I mentioned above we had less volunteers for decore team, so we had to take help of everyone’s strength and help each other.

LO 4: Showing commitment to and perseverance in CAS experiences
I showed commitment for my CAS experiences as I had to come early-in for almost a month and I did not miss any of it, i was dedicated towards my work and hobbies of decoration, that’s why our event went sa success, everyday I worked littile more harder to show dedication and love to decoration things which gave me a final result as a wonderful event.
