Global Odyssey- Service

Our participation in the Global Odyssey event, a student-led initiative celebrating cultural diversity, was part of the Creativity and Service strand of CAS. My group and I set up a football fun stall.Alongside other groups presenting music, food, and cultural displays, our goal was to provide a fun emotion to every student. We aimed to make the experience fun and collaborative while gaining practical insights. Furthermore, this event taught me various skills and ways to communicate with customers.

LO 1: Identify your own strengths and develop areas for personal growth.
It was a decision of mine to give school some donation for the grand event global Odyssey. I came to see that my ability to identify needs and wish to find is a strength. But I also discovered that I need to pay more attention to how my contributions are use. I understood that after giving donation I could develop my personal growth.

LO 6: Demonstrate engagement with issues of global significance.
As I mentioned above the I gave money to the school authority which donated the money, which shows that some global issues like huger, poverty can be reduced like this by small small donation, from school, and their more than 100 students who did this donation, which comes with a big amount which is helpful for the needy person.

LO 7: Recognize and consider the ethics of choices and actions.
My parents have always taught that we should help someone who needs something or having trouble with doing something which shows that after doing this donation I have helped the needy person with, food, clothes and many more.
