Global Odyssey is an event organized by students for students aimed at celebrating various cultures, entrepreneurship, and global awareness. The event is aimed at culminating classroom learning with creative and innovative ideas and features a variety of interactive stalls centered around food, music, sports, and cultural specialties for the entire school community’s participation.
In support of this initiative, my team and I designed a stall treatment as a fun football challenge to encourage active participation, collaboration, and friendly competition. The experience sought to be both enjoyable and interactive while providing an opportunity to learn the skills of planning events, problem solving, and leadership. The stand was aimed at students from diverse backgrounds, thus fostering involvement through sports. This participation assisted me in seeing areas that I needed to change about myself and allowed me to learn skills such as organization, cooperation, and flexibility.

LO 5: Demonstrate the Skills and Recognize the Benefits of Working Collaboratively
Our success was greatly dependent on teamwork and communication. Every member of the team was assigned a particular role, whether it was handling registrations, the explanation of rules, or the matches. Through teamwork, we organized the stall effectively while at the same time supporting and encouraging one another. This also emphasized the need to depend on others and pool individual strengths to achieve a common objective.
