Anand Utsav was a special event organized to appreciate our school’s support staff by engaging them in fun games and activities. We divided ourselves into groups, each handling different activities to ensure an enjoyable experience. Before the event, I contributed to decorating the venue by helping hang flowers in the Y-Box. During the event, I managed the music for a song-guessing game with my friend, where we played old songs, and the support staff had to guess them. I also participated in a dialogue-guessing activity, where I read out famous movie dialogues and they had to identify what movie it was from. This experience allowed me to develop key skills while giving back to the people who support us daily.

LO3 – Initiate and plan a CAS experience
Although the event was planned by the project leaders, I played an active role in preparing for it. My contributions to setting up the Y-Box area, assisting with decorations, and organizing the music ensured that the activities ran smoothly. I also helped in dividing the thank you cards category-wise which was a time-consuming and monotonous task but it was required. I had to think ahead, making sure the playlist was ready and the transitions between games were seamless. Me and my peers chose songs for the actviity that would make the staff feel nostalgic. This experience taught me the importance of planning and how even small details contribute to the success of an event.

LO4 – Show perseverance and commitment in CAS experience
This event demanded commitment. I woke up early to arrive on time and help with decorations, ensuring the space looked festive for the support staff. Throughout the event, I stayed engaged and fulfilled my responsibilities, whether it was managing the music or participating in activities. My dedication to making the event enjoyable reflected my commitment to the experience.

LO5 – Demonstrate the skills and recognize the benefits of working collaboratively
Anand Utsav was a team effort, and working together was essential for its success. In the Y-Box, I collaborated with my friends to run the music game efficiently, ensuring smooth coordination so that the event remained lively. While decorating, I worked with others to set up the space quickly and effectively. This experience reinforced how teamwork makes tasks more manageable and enjoyable, highlighting the importance of effective communication and cooperation.
