Kalakriti was a school-wide art and cultural event that showcased the creative talents of students from various schools. As a volunteer, I was responsible for coordinating with participants, guiding them to their respective venues, and observing the different creative tasks and performances that took place on days. As I was the volunteer my main role was to assist visiting schools by directing participants to their respective event venues and ensuring that the competitions were running on time. I also got the opportunity to observe how other students approached their creative tasks, which gave me new perspectives on art and performance.
When I was volunteering this big event, I run into some more creativeness as seeing people from different schools made me realize how different artforms are there in this world like people were like showing their solo talents, group talent and how coordination took place was also one of the tasks as an student at FS this was one of my experience in taking a part in kalakriti and working collaboratively with different students and people.
This was the evidence at working as a volunteer at kalakriti:

The LOR’s that suits this task were:
LOR 4: Show perseverance and commitment in CAS experience.
I showed dedication during my CAS experience at Kalakriti by taking part in the planning and execution of the event. Despite the long hours and occasionally repetitive nature of the tasks, I remained committed to making sure everything went smoothly. I assumed responsibility for directing guests, assisting various school groups in locating their locations, and providing team members with support when needed. I gained a better understanding of the value of dependability and teamwork as well as the necessity of patience and constant effort when working on a major event.
LOR 5- Demonstrate skills and benefits of working collaboratively.
Together with my team, I assisted in directing various school visitors to their designated locations and managing them during the Kalakriti event. This called for coordination, patience, and clear communication. We were able to keep the event running smoothly, collaborating with others taught me the value of respecting diverse working styles and hearing what others have to say. I came to see that working together not only facilitates tasks but also fosters a productive environment where everyone feels appreciated and accountable. I gained better interpersonal and teamwork skills from this experience, and I realized how successful collaboration can result from good teamwork.
At the end the LOR’s which I chose which best suits the creativity was much enough to see how dedicated I was when volunteering as a person in group and had a very interesting time seeing some friends from different schools and it was a really good event done, this was one of my best experiences at kalakriti with the activities done. These things made me realize if we do something at our own and with the team than anything is possible at the moment of help and guidance.
