The experience of Global Odyssey 5.0 proved truly amazing in every way. I operated a food stall where customers could purchase Pasta along with Mojito and load their nachos and coco. Running this food stall proved challenging yet brought immense satisfaction to me.
LO1-The kitchen hobby fostered my enthusiasm for managing the food stall. Managing customer monitoring and accepting ongoing orders required adaptation strategies at the stall even though investment costs were low. The staple of appropriate prize items lacked from the start seemed like a major hindrance to the operation.
LO2-Time management presented itself as our main difficulty because economics students had different scheduling hours than BM students who were divided between separate batches that required my group to either collaborate in pairs or smaller teams to complete their work. Getting items on the market became problematic because different group members had different study hours. Finally we managed to meet all our goals by deciding to collaborate with each other during spare time which prevented work delays. This experience helped me build better time management abilities as well as problem solving expertise.
LO4-A true commitment combined with endurance leads to success in CAS work.
Working at the beach stall became overwhelming at times during those extended hours combined with high levels of customer service demands. Through the challenges I stayed dedicated to my work in the stall before overcoming the difficulties. The experience taught me that dedication united with hard work always leads to successful goal accomplishment.
LO5-Organizations use collaboration to demonstrate team skills and mutual benefits.
My friend group took on different responsibilities that included preparing food for service with additional duties for providing customer support. A group collaboration emphasized both coordination and seamless communication as well as team-based support for reaching shared goals.
