I had an opportunity to visit a school which was specially built for disabled children, we got engaged in fun activities.We organized sports for them like dodgeball, also we gave creative tasks such as how to make something with the blocks which we provided and also gave them drawing which they had to color.This experience was deeply meaningful for the children as they learned something new which they had never learned before and were also very happy.

LO2 – Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken

The challenges which have been undertaken when I visited shilpa school was that when I met the diabled children there so the challenges which have been undertaken was that when we organized the fun activities for them so like our group had challenge of how we can explain the fun activities in such a way that the children can understand.So like the biggest challengs was like in our group no one knowed how to speak gujaratri that properly.So I had to take the initiave of speaking gujaratri with the disabled children as they were knowing that language only.So it was little bit hard for the me to explain all of the fun activities to the children.

LO4 – Show perservance and commitment in CAS experience

In this experience I showed perservance and commitment when I visited shilpa school so like my perservance and commitment was great in this experience.As this was my service experience so I gave instructions to them which they had to follow.So I tought how to make something from the blocks which they can make from it and also for color which they had to do of the drawing which we gave them they just had to color it.At Last we played dodgeball in which we played with them and gave instructions how to play the game without doing cheating so they had fun when they played the dodgeball.

LO5 – Demonstrate skills and benefits of working collaboratively

The skills which I followed while working collaboratively with my group members was that the social skills and communication skills were demonstrate as I had to communicate with my group members for which activity we can let them play so like we also had to communicate with the children for the fun activities which we organized for them and social skills were used while working collaboratively was like as a group we were socially prepared for this experience as we had to socialize with children and had to talk with them so that they can enjoy the fun activities which were organized by our group.
