Global Odyssey is an event which helps students to experience and entrepreneurship.Wherein there are students from business management and economics participate in different fields such as Food,decoration,and fun.Wherein we took food and named our stall Delara.Where we sold donuts and cheeseballs.We had an very great experience by taking part in this amazing event.Which gave us some glimpse of entrepreneurship.There were challenges and risk that we had to overcome and I think we did it very well.

LO 1:Identify your own strengths and develop areas for personal growth.

By this event I got to know strengths in the decision making and taking right call.As there were many questions like what to sell? how much quantity and at what price point?But at the end we came to the conclusion and decided to sell donuts and cheese balls.Also we expected to have sales but we got to know that what we were expecting was less by knowing from seniors and teachers and than we decided to make more donuts and cheese balls and take risk and hopefully it was an right decision and we were not left with a single items.Where else I have to work on my communication skills as on the day of the event I was bit nervous in terms of marketing the product so that is something on which I should work upon.

LO4:Show commitment to and perseverance in CAS experiences.

We had decided that we would make this successful and we thought on the first day that we would sell anything which could be get out of stock by the end.Than after lots of discussion into our group and changing items 3-4 times we finally decided donuts and cheese balls.After which we also have to make the items hygienic and pocket friendly as the main audience was students.There were many challenges that came in our way but we overcame all of them.We should show perseverance that is what I learned from this event.As at one time we also thought that have we made any mistake by taking food but at the end I can say that it was very successful.

LO5. Demonstrate the skills and recognize the benefits of working collaboratively.

Working collaboratively was the first thing that we kept in our mind and every decision we took ,we asked the group members and than only took decisions. Also on the day while selling the donuts and cheese balls we divided our roles so that we can give quick service and hygienic food to the customers.One person was giving donuts another was giving cheese balls and one who would collect the money.

Conclusion:

Taking part in this event Global odyssey was fun it taught us many crucial learnings that I think we would be also using ahead in our lives.This was an event of coordination and showing perseverance.Also we donated the money that we earned.The team that we had was also an very cooperative which made our work much more smooth.
